Marketing Manager
Reports to SVP Marketing Communications

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Purpose:
Work with the client Marketing Director to ensure projects are completed on time and in budget.
For this position, your duties shall generally include, but not be limited to the following:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Regular contact with key team members and agency via phone, Teams, email and face-to-face meetings
- Problem-solve/provide assistance to Marketing Director and agency on scheduling, project marketing challenges, information flow, feedback, etc.
- Oversee implementation of project work with professionalism
- Maintain vendor relationships: printers, photographers, etc.
- Participate in development of project scopes and fees with Marketing Director and agency
- Maintain regular agency contact
- Be a key resource in the development of project marketing strategies, communication plans, creative briefs and feedback on agency
creative deliverables - Monitor budgets
- Manage select team marketing initiatives including eBlasts, social media presence, website updates and follow-up correspondence
- Occasional travel may be required
- Assist in:
- Providing creative direction
- Monitoring project status
Marketing/New Business Tasks:
- Manage requests for proposals and RFQs as assigned
- Facilitate the process for RFP responses and other proposals work with Principal/SVP to assign responsibilities, develop schedule/deadlines
for staff, conduct research/information-gathering, write content and lay out initial draft of document - Take responsibility for quality control of RFPs verify accuracy of information, ensure all requirements are met, proof document for errors
- Work with marketing specialist to update and maintain qualifications materials bios, resumes, project sheets, templates,
- Manage select JW marketing initiatives including eBlasts, website updates and follow-up correspondence for prospects
- Other projects as assigned
Skills:
This position requires:
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Self-starting capabilities with ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Ability to plan/strategize design, implement and track social media campaigns (with assistance from creative team)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic design skills are a plus

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or journalism, English or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of key marketing and communications tools such as Meltwater, Muckrack, Canva, AI, Mailchimp, Constant Contact,
Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc. - Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Workamajig, Trello, SharePoint, etc.
