PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System serves 38,000 students across seven municipalities and 55 unincorporated areas in Savannah, GA. A still-growing system, it engaged Cogdell & Mendrala Architects to design the Hesse K-8 School. 

Jones Worley developed a wayfinding and signage program for the 145,000sf facility that includes core academic spaces, computer labs, a media center, visual and performing arts labs, administrative offices, dining facilities and a gymnasium. Jones Worley also completed similar work for May Howard Elementary, Spencer Elementary and Godley Station K-8, also SCCPSS schools.
