PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located in a charming, early 20th-century historic district, the four-acre Beckley Intermodal Gateway serves as an access point to nearby national parks and popular outdoor destinations in Beckley, WV.

Jones Worley was engaged by architectural firm, Niles Bolton Associate, to develop the wayfinding and signage design for this inter-city bus hub. Jones Worley’s approach incorporated architectural elements into its signage design that embraced the integrity of this historic district’s revitalization efforts. The team created the signage program for the 60,000-square-foot facility, including a 540-space parking deck with multi-level entrances and exits, pedestrian wayfinding, and site identification.
