Renew Atlanta Infrastructure Bond Campaign

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Arcadis Design & Consultancy team, Jones Worley developed strategic communications, branding, messaging, and a public outreach plan for the City of Atlanta’s “Renew Atlanta” infrastructure bond referendum. The firm created a comprehensive campaign for the $250 million TSPLOST referendum – the city’s first in more than a decade – that was overwhelming approved by more than 88% of voters to repair infrastructure for mass transit users, motorists, and cyclists, and to upgrade outdated municipal buildings.

Having created a unique look for the Renew Atlanta brand, Jones Worley developed a website about the projects slated for repair, coordinated public-information meetings, produced marketing collateral, oversaw social media engagement, and developed results measurement. As part of the post-campaign, Jones Worley developed a website that provides real-time information about the status of projects to enhance public transparency and strengthen stakeholder confidence.
